Feng Shui Talisman Tape — Black Horizontal

Fortune flows where intention goes.

The Three Lucky Gods, the Five Blessings, and the words that shape good qi — woven into kinesiology tape for balanced movement.

The Feng Shui Talisman is a Chinese auspicious fortune talisman. The Three Star Gods — Fu, Lu and Shou — share the design with the Five Blessings of Chinese tradition and a circle of English keywords that name what we want to grow: hope, faith, truth, life, live, heal. This horizontal layout suits taping across joints, around the chest, the lower back and the shoulders, where the Three Star Gods sit symmetrically across the body and the keywords ring around them.

The story behind the design

In Chinese tradition, fortune is not chance — it is cultivated. The arrangement of objects, the alignment of intention and the words you choose to live with shape the qi around you. The Three Star Gods, Fu Lu Shou (福祿壽), are the most enduring auspicious figures in Chinese culture: gods of happiness, prosperity and longevity who appear together on doors, in temples and on family altars. Their characters alone are wishes; their faces are blessings.

Wrapped around them is the Wu Fu (五福), the Five Blessings — long life, good health, wealth, virtue and a peaceful death — the classical Chinese measure of a complete life. The English keywords woven into the design name the qualities a modern practice still asks for: hope, faith, truth, life, live, heal. This is not a talisman for combat. It is a talisman for cultivation — for the qi you tend, the intention you set and the fortune that grows where attention goes.

Decoded guide to every symbol on the Feng Shui Talisman tape
Every symbol on this design, decoded.

Every symbol explained

Each Chinese character, every blessing and every English keyword on the tape sits within centuries of Chinese auspicious tradition. Here's what every mark means.

The Three Star Gods (Fu Lu Shou)

Fu (福) — Good luck, fortune, blessings, happiness.

The most universally displayed Chinese character on doors, homes, and red packets. Wear it for opportunity and joy.

Lu (祿) — Prosperity, rank, influence.

The wish "may things go as you wish." The blessing of social and material success; honour and recognition.

Shou (壽) — Longevity, long life, health.

The blessing of a long and well-lived life. Carved into birthday cakes and worn by elders.

The Five Blessings (Wu Fu)

Long life — duration

The first of the Wu Fu. Years lived in full, not merely counted.

Good health — vitality

The body that carries the years. Energy, mobility, the capacity to do what the day asks.

Wealth — abundance

Material sufficiency and the generosity it makes possible. Not greed; enough, and a little to give.

Virtue — character

The classical love of right action. The Wu Fu insists that a long, healthy, wealthy life is incomplete without it.

Peaceful death — a good ending to a good life

The final blessing — to leave on your own terms, surrounded, at rest. The fifth of the Wu Fu.

The English Keywords

Hope

The forward-facing belief. The qi that pulls a practice toward tomorrow.

Faith

Trust in self, in process, in outcome. The quiet certainty that holds the line.

Truth

The honest practice. What is, before what we wish it were.

Life

The gift to honour. The breath, the body, the day itself.

Live

The verb, not the noun. The action of life — fully, attentively, now.

Heal

Restoration; the body returning to itself. The work of recovery, written as intention.

How to apply

The horizontal layout suits joints and chest-band placements — across a knee or elbow, around the lower back, banded across the shoulders or pectorals. Apply over clean dry skin, round the corners of each pre-cut strip, and smooth firmly to activate the heat-sensitive adhesive. Set an intention as you place each strip — Chinese tradition is explicit that fortune flows where attention goes.

Worn with intention. Designed with meaning. The symbols on this design draw on Chinese auspicious tradition — they carry the meanings their cultures have given them for centuries. Wear them as a personal reminder, a focus for ritual or meditation, or simply for their beauty. Underneath the artwork sits the same medical-grade 95% Rayon / 5% Spandex kinesiology tape engineered for 5–7 day wear, sweat resistance and proprioceptive support. We don't claim the symbols themselves heal — we believe the intention you bring to them matters.
