Kinesiology tape for rehab, return-from-injury, chronic pain management and post-surgical recovery.
Built for people in rehab. Whether you're six weeks post-ACL, climbing back from a shoulder reconstruction, or managing the slow grind of chronic lower-back pain, kinesiology tape is a quiet, week-long ally. It's the same tape physiotherapists reach for in clinic — lifting the skin to ease swelling, reawakening dormant muscles after immobilisation, and reminding an injured joint where it should be.
Why kinesiology tape for recovery and pain
After injury or surgery, two things happen that delay return to function: tissue swells, and the muscles around the injury stop firing properly. Kinesiology tape addresses both. Applied with a light stretch over a swollen area in a fan or basketweave pattern, it lifts the skin a fraction of a millimetre, creating space underneath for lymphatic flow to drain stagnant fluid. Applied along the length of a muscle that's gone quiet after a period of disuse, it gives the nervous system a steady proprioceptive cue that wakes the muscle back up.
This is why physios use tape in clinic for everything from post-op knees to nagging tennis elbow. The 5 to 7 day wear time means one application covers a full week between sessions — you keep the benefit going at home, in the shower, and through your home-exercise programme.
Best for these specific use cases
Post-surgical rehab
ACL, rotator cuff, meniscus, ankle reconstruction — tape supports the surgical site and reactivates the muscles that switched off during the immobilisation phase.
Swelling reduction
Fan-cut strips over a chronically swollen joint or limb encourage lymphatic drainage between physio sessions. Always with your clinician's guidance.
Chronic lower back support
Long paraspinal strips give the erector spinae continuous proprioceptive feedback through working days and sleeping nights.
Tennis & golfer's elbow
A forearm extensor or flexor strip decompresses the irritated tendon insertion and supports gradual loading back to activity.
Rotator cuff rehab
A supraspinatus or deltoid strip cues correct scapulo-humeral rhythm while the cuff musculature rebuilds strength.
Plantar fasciitis & foot pain
An arch-supporting strip from heel to forefoot offloads the chronically irritated fascia through long days on your feet.

How to use this collection
Always apply tape over clean, dry, intact skin. Never tape over an open wound, fresh stitches, or skin that's actively inflamed or broken. If you're in active rehab with a physiotherapist, ask them to show you the specific application pattern that suits your stage of recovery — the technique matters as much as the product. The Beige variant is the discreet workhorse for office days, hospital appointments and clothing-restricted environments; the Black plain is the everyday alternative for evenings and weekends.
For chronic conditions, build a weekly routine: apply Sunday evening, peel off the following Saturday, give the skin a day off, reapply Sunday. Consistency beats intensity.
