Why synthetic rather than cotton?
Most tape at this price is cotton. Cotton absorbs sweat and holds it against the skin, which is why cotton tape lifts at the edges by day two. Rayon wicks moisture and dries, which is how these rolls hold for five to seven days through showers and training. It is the same synthetic fabric the branded tapes use — theirs costs £13 to £25 a roll.

We have not found another UK brand selling kinesiology tape with the dispenser built into the roll.
Questions
Does the colour change how the tape performs?
No. Every colour is the same fabric, the same adhesive and the same 5cm × 25cm cut. Colour is cosmetic. Any claim that a particular colour heats or cools the skin is not something we make.
How many rolls do I need?
One roll is 20 strips. Most applications take two strips, so a roll is about ten applications. Three rolls is the point where delivery becomes free and the price drops to 25p a strip, which is why most people start there.
Can I mix colours and Talisman designs in one order?
Yes. The quantity discount counts every roll in the basket whatever the colour or design, and it is applied automatically at checkout.
Is it waterproof?
It is water resistant and sweat resistant, not waterproof. The adhesive is waterproof but the fabric is porous and breathes, which is the point — it dries rather than trapping moisture. Showering and swimming are fine; pat dry afterwards rather than rubbing.
